The Market House

The Market House is a high-energy rooftop bar, restaurant, hotel, and event venue housed within a beautifully converted historic former Lloyds Bank building in the heart of Reading town centre, close to the train station. Its industrial-chic aesthetic carries from the ground-floor bar and food kitchen up to the spectacular third-floor rooftop terrace, which features a fully retractable roof so the party continues regardless of the weather. The rooftop can accommodate 100 standing or 60 seated guests and comes equipped with TV screens, a private bar, and a BBQ menu, making it a favourite for everything from birthday celebrations to corporate events. The food menu spans sourdough pizza, burgers, and brunch, while the cocktail list, craft beer selection, and wine menu cater to every taste.
