Tantalo Roofbar is a legendary open-air rooftop bar perched atop the Tantalo Hotel, a ten-room boutique hotel on Calle 8 Este at Avenida B in Panama City's Casco Viejo. Widely recognised as the first rooftop bar of its kind in the neighbourhood, Tantalo has long been considered one of the best rooftop experiences in the city, offering stunning views of the waterfront, the Panama Bay, and the surrounding colonial skyline. The venue features a retractable roof to shelter guests in case of rain, and opens daily from 5 p.m. The world-class bar team, led by master mixologist Juan Pablo, serves an extensive menu of signature cocktails crafted from fresh local ingredients. Dinner is available nightly until 9 p.m. A rich programme of weekly events — including art nights, Latin music evenings, and Glam night on Thursdays — keeps the atmosphere festive and diverse throughout the week.
