Ruby Rooftop Bar is a seasonal open-air terrace on the 7th floor of the Scandic Rubinen hotel, situated directly on Avenyn, Gothenburg's most famous boulevard. The long wraparound terrace offers magical views in three directions, sweeping across the city rooftops, down onto the buzzing street below, and all the way to the Nya Ullevi Stadium on the horizon. The bar specialises in creative cocktails crafted by passionate bartenders, with seasonal signature drinks including the Gothenburg Spritz made with local gin, elderflower, and sparkling wine, alongside wines, bubbles, and beers on draught. Light snacks and wraps are available on the terrace, while the connected Ruby restaurant two floors below serves full lunch and dinner. Open from April to October, Ruby Rooftop Bar is one of Gothenburg's most celebrated elevated spots for a summer evening drink.
