Retiré Bar

Retiré Bar is a charming rooftop cocktail bar perched above Ergon House in the Plaka neighbourhood of Athens — the storied historical district known as the neighbourhood of the gods — and operated in collaboration with acclaimed bar team Clumsies. The beach-chic terrace is adorned with lush green trees and twinkling fairy lights, furnished with bistro-style seating and playful swinging loungers that invite guests to settle in and savour views of the Acropolis rising above the ancient city. A cocktail truck on the terrace serves carefully crafted, creative drinks that balance flavours and evoke the aromas and spirit of Greece, complemented by an impressive selection of Greek wines and picks from local craft breweries. Open on a walk-in basis from late March through late October, Retiré is a seasonal urban oasis and one of Athens's most beloved rooftop escapes.
