Johnny's Green Room is a Tuscan-inspired rooftop bar above King and Godfree on the iconic Lygon Street in Carlton, Melbourne. Designed by award-winning designer Dion Hall, the open-air terrace evokes the warmth of an Italian summer with a semi-retractable roof that lets the sunshine in year-round, while offering dazzling panoramic views over Carlton's rooftops and the Melbourne CBD skyline. Food icon Karen Martini's Italian-inspired menu spans wood-fired pizza, polenta chips, bresaola, burrata, calamari, crudo, and sweet treats from Pidapipo, while cocktail maestro Matt Bax celebrates Italy's cocktail heritage with spritzy and smashable creations alongside local and imported beer and wine. Named after the beloved Carlton nightspot that attracted Melbourne's bohemian set in the seventies and eighties, Johnny's Green Room reimagines that spirit for a new generation of Lygon Street devotees.
