Friche la Belle de Mai

Friche la Belle de Mai is a celebrated cultural rooftop terrace situated atop a vast arts and creative hub in the vibrant Belle de Mai district of Marseille. Opened in 2013, the expansive toit-terrasse offers an unobstructed panorama over the city's rooftops and skyline, making it an extraordinary backdrop for strolling and socialising. Every summer, the rooftop comes alive during the "ON AIR" season from June to September, transforming on Friday and Saturday evenings into a giant open-air dancefloor under the stars, with live music, DJ sets, and cultural performances, while guests enjoy apéros and picnics in a festive communal atmosphere. It is one of Marseille's most distinctive and vibrant outdoor venues, blending art, culture, and nightlife in a uniquely urban setting.
