Dirty Little Secret is Wellington's original rooftop container bar, found on the eighth floor of the Hope Gibbons Building on Taranaki Street in Te Aro. Accessed via a discreet elevator, this industrial-chic hideaway was inspired by Melbourne's laneway bar culture and features a bar crafted from a refurbished shipping container, surrounded by fairy lights, a dance floor, and near-panoramic views over Courtenay Place and Wellington's vibrant entertainment district. The venue is celebrated for its creative cocktails, first-class beer selection, and impressive range of spirits and wines, while the fried chicken and bar bites keep the crowd fuelled for the night. From DJ sessions to Drag Bingo, Dirty Little Secret delivers a lively programme seven nights a week for up to 200 guests.
