Couleur Locale is an all-day rooftop view bar tucked away on Normanou Street in the heart of Monastiraki, Athens, accessible through a discreet arcade of antique and bric-a-brac shops not far from Monastiraki metro station. Since opening in 2014, the venue has offered a strikingly authentic local atmosphere that attracts a fashionable crowd of Athenians alongside visitors seeking something beyond the typical tourist experience. From the open terrace on the third floor, guests enjoy one of Athens's most celebrated panoramas — an uninterrupted view of the Acropolis and Parthenon that becomes truly mesmerising as the sun descends.
