Clèr

Clèr is a vibrant and inclusive rooftop bar set atop a former car park in Via Bressanone in Milan's dynamic Portello neighbourhood, born out of the city's Covid-era lockdowns as a creative gathering space for all. The name derives from the Milanese dialect word for "shutter," and the spirit of openness defines the atmosphere: a sprawling mix of eclectic furniture is scattered across the generous rooftop terrace, with sweeping views over Milan's contemporary skyline providing the backdrop. The bar serves an inventive and experimental cocktail menu alongside street-food-style dishes such as pulled pork panini and ceviche plates, keeping things accessible and fun. Inspired by the underground scenes of Berlin and London, Clèr hosts vintage cinema nights, cultural events, live music, and pulsating DJ sets, making it one of the city's most energetic and characterful outdoor evening destinations.
