Broken Shaker at Freehand NYC is a celebrated rooftop bar and cocktail lounge perched 18 floors above Gramercy at 23 Lexington Avenue, within the Freehand Hotel. A James Beard Award finalist and winner of Tales of the Cocktail's Best American Hotel Bar, Broken Shaker features two interior bars and two open-air terraces with views of the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and Lower Manhattan. The tropical-inspired space is adorned with lush greenery, wicker furniture, and colorful accents, evoking a beach-party atmosphere with a soulful R&B soundtrack. Latin American-influenced cocktails pair with a culinary menu by Michelin-recognized chefs Jeremiah Stone and Fabian von Hauske, including ceviche, skewers, and a jerk chicken sandwich. The rooftop operates seasonally from spring through autumn.
