Bomba is a festive two-level venue in Melbourne's CBD combining a Spanish-inspired tapas restaurant at street level with a vibrant rooftop bar five floors above Lonsdale Street, overlooking Chinatown. The rooftop terrace is adorned with lush hanging plants, warm ambient lighting, and a retractable roof that makes it a welcoming destination in any season. The drinks list celebrates Spanish drinking culture through sangria, sherries, seasonal cocktails, and an adventurous selection featuring local and international vermouth, gin, rum, and whiskey alongside 30 bottled beers. A 15-strong tapas menu of fresh, seasonal, and simply executed Spanish-inspired bites completes the experience. Inspired by the tradition of the Spanish workers bar and modern bodega, Bomba is open from 3pm seven days a week, welcoming both bookings and walk-ins for a relaxed yet spirited rooftop session in the heart of Melbourne.
